I'm leaving this review to help others, and also to remind myself to pass on this place. I stayed here in Spring 2017, and it cost $38 for a 30 amp site. Checked in early and informed the employee that I would not be occupying the site until 11 PM because I had to pick up my wife at the airport. Was told that would be fine. So we show up at 11 and someone is parked in our paid-for site! I knocked on the door of the nearest trailer. Fortunately I chose the right one and the guy came out and moved his truck out of my site so I could park my rig.

Went because hurricane was headed to Florida booked 4 day reservation most places in Florida and Georgia had liberal refund policy in effect because storm track was not well predicted after 2 days the storm was headed straight for Jellystone so we decided to leave we were in a 38' motorhome asked about refund for unused days they said on website there's an email for special case refunds we would have to use.

Our family had alot of fun at this park. The bathrooms were large and very clean ( which is important to us since we are staying In a tent and clean bathrooms/showers are hard to come by these days) We loved the energy of our Arts and crafts ranger Sherri, she was so fun with patience and good spirit for our family of 6. We had fun doing ceramics, beading, sand art and tie dying shirts with her,Ranger Sherri was kind, understanding and super easy to get along with! Our kids found this a fun camp ground that was easy to meet other kids and play with! Employees such as Ranger Rick and Ranger Sherri, made this park a clean, welcoming and fun resort for our whole family!

When I first arrived at the park I was excited to see all that it had to offer. My husband and I have been traveling for two years for his job. We generally stay anywhere from 3 to 4 months at a given location. Sadly I have to say that we are very dissappointed with the overall atmosphere here. The park does have a lot of rules, which we understand. Our disappointment comes from the overall employee moral. The ladies in the office were quit rude on several occasions. The employees just don’t seem to be happy working here. We witnessed several leave just in our short stay. We also witnessed a double standard of their rules baring who you knew. In general people just don’t seem happy at this park. The police were called here on multiple occasions and we witnessed arrests. There was even a child that pulled a knife on another child. We were also advised that background checks are not being done on the employees. Based on the few responses I have read on here, clearly they don’t realize the extent of the problems. We were all to happy to move on and would likely not return to this Yogi Bear Site.

Sent email explaining situation no response at all not even acknowledgement of email.

The owner called me later, apologized and said she checked the power pole and found that what I reported was true. She offered a complete refund on the card I used to pay for the site. I agreed and thanked her.

Park wasn't bad was smaller than we expected management doesn't respond to requests or answer refund requests. Wouldn't stay there again.

I never received the refund. I've already wasted too much time and have no desire to pursue it any further. Needless to say, I intend to avoid this place in the future.

Love Jellystone. Very beautiful there especially in the Fall. Staff is nice. Lots of space to walk my dog. Thank you for a very nice place to stay. Enjoyed the cool animals too!

Then I discover that the 30 amp outlet is already taken by a long extension cord to another trailer. I didn't have a 50 amp adapter, so I ended up having to use the 20 amp outlet (for which I did have an adapter). It was warm enough to need air conditioning, but running the a/c with a 20 amp adapter is very much not recommended because it can burn up your a/c unit.

In the morning I explained the situation to the employee and asked for a partial refund. She called the owner and told here the situation, and I could hear the owner yelling on the phone and accusing me of lying. I informed the employee that I would be leaving a review, and left.
