Thank you to staff at Higgins hospital, for being so kind in my uncomfortable time. God bless each one of you for the work you do

I recently had my second MRI in two years. My first experience with them was excellent, from the front desk to the MRI. I'm not easily impressed with medical facilities because of past experiences but they made my first experience so easy that I came from Douglasville Ga to Bremen to have a MRI. I wasn't disappointed. I would like to give a shout out to everyone who helped me on my last visit. Front desk: Tracy. Registration A??. X-RAY window: Jen. MRI: Terri. Special thanks to Terri for helping me to relax and get comfortable. I can't speak for the rest of the hospital but this group is amazing. Thank you and see you for all future tests.

This hospital may be small, but the staff is excellent. I was involved in a near death motor vehicle accident July 07'. I spent over a month in the trauma unit at UAB in Birmingham, AL. When released, my feeding peg was still intact, I was not given a script for hospital bed, home health care or any type assistance. I was not able to care for myself nor my 2 young children. I tried to go back to UAB, but was unable to make the long trip. I did go to 2 other hospital ERs, neither of which checked for infection. I went to Higgins Hospital in Bremen, was admitted & immediately put on antibiotics. I had MRSA staff infection in a wound on my upper leg. The infection was severe and I was blessed to be at Higgins, otherwise I may have lost my leg. I spent just under a month there, I had the best Doctors and nurses. I was not the best patient, I wanted to go home, my veins calloused (I do not like needless) & I am sure I was rude to the staff. They were still caring, went up and beyond their duty of taking the best care of me. Ladies from the front office would stick their head in just to say hello, the custodians were all friendly & the food was great. I underwent 2 more surgeries and when released had a 'home plan', a hospital bed was delivered, nurses came several times a week. I was far from being healed, but blessed to be on the long road to recovery.

Staff is very helpful.

I'm currently lying in a bed in severe pain from a fall, and the doctor is acting like my request for pain meds is an attempt to get high. I feel very disrespected, and untreated
